Many Slovaks and Czechs emigrated from The Austrian Hungarian Empire, Czechoslovakia, Slovakia and Czechia. Their children and grandchildren do not speak the language, nor do they know much about the culture. Many questions remain: What was life like when their ancestors lived in Europe? What music did they listen to? What clothes were worn? Was life simple? Hard? Learn Slovak and Czech Language . . . and the list goes on! Our radio show will help answer your questions in our second feature Slovak/Czech Spotlight. Our 3rd feature helps to promote Slovakl and Czech events around the world. Our show is Hosted by Mike Wojtila (Vojtilla) of USA. Slavomir Vojtilla, a lifelong resident of Slovakia. Guest Speaker - Historian Dr. Michal Kopanic of USA and Mária Hudáková of Slovakia.
Slavomir will teach you a few words and phrases in our first feature in every show. Before you know it, you will be able to speak some Slovak and Czech. This will be great for touring in Slovakia and Czechia!
